Film equipment

EYE’s film equipment collection is primarily comprised of recording and projection equipment, but also includes ‘pre-cinema’ objects: equipment that was influential during the development of film recording and projection, moving images and film screening. EYE regularly organises family film screenings with one of these pre-cinema objects, the magic lantern.
