Projects
EYE’s educational projects contribute to creating innovative media education and focus on filling the gaps in what’s currently offered in this area throughout the Netherlands. In addition, EYE manages two large national projects which, due to their scope and logistical complexity, demand a centralised approach. EYE also produces national as well as local events that focus on cultural film heritage.
Materials
EYE designs educational materials on specific subjects (such as books made into films, or film history) for its own activities as well as for third parties at both the primary and secondary school levels. All materials can be found at www.filmeducatie.nl, a portal that also includes educational materials from other Dutch suppliers as well. All materials published from 1992 to 2005 are available digitally via the Film Education Library. Each year, a new volume of materials is added to this library. More recent materials can be ordered separately. Themed packages with films and materials are also available.
