Public transport
There is a free ferry service from Amsterdam Central station to EYE, it runs 24 hrs, seven days a week. Take the ferry that says 'Buiksloterweg' (less than 3 mins), its the center two departure points. When you step off turn left and on foot you will be at EYE in less than 3 minutes.

Coming from the North of Amsterdam take bus number 38 and step off at 'Buiksloterwegveer', right next to EYE. You can also take bus 105 or 109 step off at 'Hagedoornplein', EYE is a 12 minute walk from there.

Car
EYE has parking space available right behind the building at €1 euro per half hour. We do advise to arrive by public transport if possible. EYE can be reached through the IJ tunnel or highway A10. Here's how to reach EYE coming from there:
- Sideway S116, direction S118 to the Johan van Hasseltweg
- at Mosplein turn left to the Van der Pekstraat
- Van der Pekstraat will turn into Buiksloterweg
- at the junction turn right to Tolhuisweg
- keep going straight and you will find the parking space at the end (€1 per 30 min).

Please note that when using sattelite navigation systems many times IJPromenade cannot be found (it is a new address). It is best to navigate to Tolhuisweg 5.
