Eye Filmmuseum is temporarily closed
In line with the national policy with regards to the coronavirus (COVID-19), Eye Filmmuseum is temporarily closed through 28 April. It has closed the doors of its cinemas, exhibition spaces, Eye Study and bar-restaurant.
Follow the announcements on this website, our social media channels and in the newsletter (in Dutch) about the duration of the closure.
I bought a ticket online, what do I do?
If you have bought your ticket online, the amount will be refunded by Eye. You do not need to take any action.
I bought a ticket at the box office, what now?
If you bought your ticket at our box office, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with your name and bank details and a photo or scan of the ticket. Our colleagues will help reimburse you. We can only start on reimbursements once our offices open again, we apologise for the inconvenience caused.
Will my ticket (paid or free ticket) remain valid for a new date?
Your ticket will not remain valid. You will be reimbursed, see above.
I have booked an activity (tour, show, workshop) in Eye with my school, what now?
In any case, all educational activities have been cancelled during this temporary closure. The education department will be in contact with you.
I rented a space for an event, what will happen?

When will the Chantal Akerman exhibition open?
Our Chantal Akerman exhibition has been postponed. We will announce the new date as soon as we have it.
When will Eye open again?
Eye is will remain closed until further notice, in line with government measures. As soon as Eye opens again, we will report this on the website and our social media channels.
