A movie character, Kung Fu Franky, suddenly breaks free from the silver screen to end up in the real world. Franky is looking for something in Amsterdam Noord, but what?

Kung Fu Franky's journey is not without its dangers. If he stays in the real world for too long, he will slowly disappear. A secret society is trying to save him, but they need your help. Can you solve the mystery in time and bring Kung Fu Franky back safely to his own world?

Through audio, you will receive information and spread throughout Amsterdam Noord, you will encounter all kinds of characters and clues that help you advance in your search for the missing Franky.

Seeing Noord anew

Help Hailey find Kung Fu Franky! Act like a detective. Looking closely will lead you to the solution! This tour right through Noord is an adventure for the whole family. You look at Noord with new eyes and children learn about film in a playful way.

About the creators

What's especially unique about this scavenger hunt is that it was made by twelve young local residents from Noord. In the context of the 75th anniversary of Eye Filmmuseum, these makers followed a workshop trajectory in which they wrote the script, filmed and acted. The exciting story is based on places and residents from their local area.

In November 2021, we'll prelaunch The Mystery of Kung Fu Franky to present the app to the general public in March 2022. We are looking forward to your feedback to improve the app! Mail us at educatie@eyefilm.nl.
