De oude veerman
The old ferryman has a much younger wife. She has met and fallen in love with a young man. When the ferryman discovers this, he seeks revenge. His chance comes when the young man asks him to take him to the other side of the lake on the ferry. The old man provokes a fight in which he becomes the dupe. He falls into the water and drowns.
