I Remember
Summary
The starting point for this film was to visualize a person’s memories; in this case, those of a ‘sculptor’.
The film does not follow a story, but instead represents serval aspects of those memories (including time alignment, dreams, subconscious, market procedures, desires, work, youth, destruction, atmosphere, presence, environment, etc.).
I have not sought to present a clear picture, but rather to make an impression using cinematic means, which the viewer can fill in with his own experiences. (Gerard Holthuis in the folder for the Cine-q prize, 1978)
