In only a few months, we'll be living in the same year in which Ridley Scott situated his SF classic Blade Runner. Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford) goes in search of the human clone Roy Batty (Rutger Hauer), whose shelf life has expired. Blade Runner offers a prophetic view of the society of the future, in which the human-friendly climate has gone to hell, the theme of migration becomes problematic and artificial intelligence demands a role.
With robotization becoming more prevalent, in 2018 the film seems just as relevant as in 1982. Display of the director's cut, without voice-over and with open end.
With introduction (in Dutch) by philosopher Jos Hogenbirk about blade runner Deckard in the footsteps of René Descartes.
