Cinedans - The Beast in the Jungle
The Beast in the Jungle is a poetic reflection on time, memory and mortality, between dance and costume drama, based on the homonymous novella by Henry James, written in 1903.
The main roles are being danced by Sarah Reynolds (former Nederlands Dans Theater) and Dane Jeremy Hurst (former Rambert Dance Company London). The Beast in the Jungle is the first feature-length dance film by director Clara van Gool.
The screening will be concluded with a discussion with the makers and the audience.
