IDFA - Another News Story + Doc Talk hosted by De Groene Amsterdammer

It's the end of 2015, and the world is witnessing one of the worst refugee crises of the past decade. We follow a large group of refugees accompanied by a caravan of international journalists as they travel across Europe. The refugees are searching for a safe place to live, while the reporters are after a good story.

Along the way, we get to know a few central figures from each group. They include a Syrian woman who left her children behind and is now trying to reach Germany, where she hopes to start a new life. There's also journalist Bruno and cameraman Johnny, who view the chaos with a blend of concern and cynicism. Their priority is to distill what they see and hear into a compelling news story.

Another News Story raises questions about the world behind the news. How does a story become world news, and what happens after the cameras and microphones are switched off?
