Imagine - Minding His Gap: Rosto & Thee Wreckers Tetralogy

Filmmaker and artist Rosto A.D. is one of the most idiosyncratic filmmakers in the Netherlands, with an instantly recognizable style. His project Mind My Gap started off in 1998 as an online graphic novel before expanding to short films, music and print.

With Reruns, which has its Dutch premiere at Imagine, he concluded a series of four musical films, Thee Wreckers Tetralogy. It is a perfect moment to give a platform to Rosto’s work and this is the first occasion where all films are screened as one programme. Seeing the films in one session just shows how consistent his work is and how coherent his cinematic vision. In a long conversation, Rosto will elaborate on Thee Wreckers, his work and future plans.

Thee Wreckers Tetralogy: No Place Like Home (2008), Lonely Bones (2013), Splintertime (2015), Reruns (2018)
