In the Crosswind (Risttuules)

A poignant drama about the deportation of 40,000 people from Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania at Joseph Stalin’s orders in 1941. The women and children were transported to Siberia while the men disappeared in prison camps.

To accompany In the Crosswind, EYE will also be screening Austerlitz ( Sergei Loznitsa, DE, 2016).

EYE is right opposite Amsterdam Central station on the north side of the river IJ. EYE is reached easily with the free ferry which sails 24/7, we are also easily accessible by car.
