Maudite poutine

Punk musician Vincent returns to his native village in Quebec in an attempt to get away from a gang of dealers whose drugs he stole. Back home he joins his tormented brother’s hardcore band, but the brothers are soon sucked into a spiral of violence. Lemieux’ aesthetically uncompromising feature film debut was nominated for the Venice Horizons Award for Best Film at the Venice film festival.
