For the 10th edition of the Eye International Conference, we revisit the topic of colour in film, in celebration of 10 years since The Colour Fantastic: Chromatic Worlds of Silent Cinema Conference which took place in Eye in 2015. In 2025, we broaden the focus to the study of film colour globally, both within and beyond the silent film era, exploring the current themes and emergent challenges in the field across academic and professional realms, throughout film history.
