100 jaar Warner Brothers: Looney Tunes
Charles Jones, Friz Freleng, Matthew O'Callaghan, Robert Clampett / US, 2023 / 76 min.
Warner Bros. was founded on 4 April 1923. Eye is marking the film studio’s centenary with a range of screenings. No examination of the history of Warner Bros. would be complete without attention for the cartoons produced for the Looney Tunes film series.

Eye is screening a compilation of thirteen Looney Tunes: nine cartoons from the forties and fifties by legendary animators such as Charles 'Chuck' Jones, Isadore 'Friz' Freleng and Bob Clampett. The programme is completed by four Looney Tunes from 2010 and 2011, directed by Matthew O'Callaghan. The selection contains films featuring well-known animated characters such as Michigan J. Frog, Bugs Bunny, Sylvester, Elmer Fudd, Tweety Bird, Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner.
