What if a pretty sensitive 19-year-old postal worker develops a burning love for his seductive neighbour, a promiscuous woman in her thirties? Feature-length version of the sixth episode in Kieslowski’s Dekalog TV series explores the difference between love and sex, being together and being lonely.

Tomek keeps tabs on everything Magda does; he buys a telescope and watches from the window as she engages in colourful erotic adventures with a succession of short-term lovers.
