The futurism of the first Soviet science fiction blockbuster inspired pianist Helena Basilova and sound designer Salvador Breed’s new, interdisciplinary project. This vision of the future from the past is transformed into a bewitching, timeless dream by a new, electro-acoustic score that will be performed live.

1921, Moscow. Driven by a fascination for the universe and marital jealousy, an engineer enamoured with the revolution let’s his imagination get the better of him. He believes the Queen of Mars is trying to contact him using mysterious radio signals.
