Workshop Animatiesensatie

Anything can be brought to life using stop-motion. A dancing clay animation of your pet, or a shoe that falls in love with a pair of scissors. In this workshop, anything goes! A Dutch Sign Language (NGT) interpreter will be present at this workshop.

In this workshop for 7 to 12-year-olds, children can discover the magic of animation. Using film material from Eye’s rich collection as a source of inspiration, they will make a stop-motion film together by taking 200 photos and then playing these in sequence at high speed. The images can be changed greatly from one photo to the next. Which makes it possible to bring everything to life using this technique. Objects and people can disappear, change, suddenly start moving or appear out of nowhere.

The workshop will be led by animator and photographer Niek Michel.

- A Dutch Sign Language (NGT) interpreter will be present at this workshop.

- An accompanying adult is allowed (free of charge), but is not required.
