Georgian director Dea Kulumbegashvili’s second feature film is an immersive portrait of female gynaecologist Nina who is deeply dedicated to her patients. Kulumbegashvili explores the roots of Georgia’s patriarchal culture.

Nina works at a hospital in a small Georgian village. She is unconditionally dedicated to her patients even if that means she sometimes has to bend the rules. When a new born baby under her care dies, she is accused of negligence.
