Atanarjuat: The Fast Runner wins the captivating Atuat’s love, eliciting the rage of the jealous Oki - the tribal leader’s son. Oki murders Atanarjuat’s brother Amaqjuag The Strong. Atanarjuat escapes and runs naked across the tundra of arctic Canada, will he survive and manage to appease the evil spirits?
