Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) is shot back in time and worries that he won’t even be conceived and as a result won’t be able to go back to the future if he doesn’t help his dweeb of a father win his mother’s heart. To make matters worse, his mother clearly prefers him over his father in 1955. Unless that is, the absent-minded, yet brilliant professor Emmett Brown (Christopher Lloyd) can stage a spectacular rescue and return him to the present in the meantime experiencing all manner of comical, confusing situations.
