Cinedans - 3D & Stereoscopic
A whole new dimension is added to dance on film thanks to the latest stereoscopic film techniques. The viewer is swept up in the hypnotic and sometimes absurdist world of 3D dance.

Frames (premiere NL) Emmanuel Albano and Throwdown Collective (CA 2014) 4' Frames explores the dynamic form of the trio. Playing with the tension of partnering, weight sharing and manipulation, the film investigates themes such as perspective and time.
Tarang (premiere NL) Jonny Greenwald and Guru Ratikanth Mohaparta (US 2013) 4'Tarang is a digital exploration of the classical Indian dance style Odissi, connecting Eastern spirituality with modern Western art forms.
Mudskipping (premiere NL) Phoebe Hart, Elizabeth Vilmanis and Zaimon Vilmanis (AU 2016) 13'The Mudskipper is an Australian fish that lives both on in water and on land. Mudskipping is a wayward reinterpretation of the lives of two mudskippers.
WOMB (premiere NL) Gilles Jobin (CH 2016) 33'Three characters emerge from a womb and discover the vastness of the world. Life starts to unfold in both its fulness and emptiness.
