Cinedans - The Aesthetics of Camera Movement
In his illustrated lecture Aesthetics of Camera Movement, Steadicam operator and cinematographer Chriss Fawcett will share insights in the moving camera’s function in film. He will show clips – some magical, some dreadful – that demonstrate important aspects behind the decision to take the camera into the third spatial dimension. What works and when is a moving camera sensible? Following the lecture, Chris Fawcett invites audience members to share their opinions.
