On the shortest day of the year, December 21, we celebrate Short Film Day. With a special film program we treat children (4+) to the best shorts from all over Europe. Go explore in the snow, in the zoo or with a magnifying glass. Join in the adventure!
The films contain no dialogue and are suitable for ages 4 and up.

In a zoo, a boy tries to photograph a butterfly and ignores the other animals around him.
Awaker (Filip Diviak, CZ 2017, 10')
Short animated story set in a cold nordic country happening in the beginning of the 19th century. The story is about the stereotypical life of an old man who is working as an awaker, a man waking up people. His life is still the same, until the day he gets an old shiny bell.
Pawo (Antje Heyn, DE 2015, 8')
Pawo (Tibetan for "being brave") is the magical adventure of a little toy figure, who finds herself in a curious world. Thanks to a strange companion, she gradually becomes aware of her strength and skills.
