Dropje

Dropje

Meikeminne Clinckspoor / NL, 2019 / 40 min.

With Dropje you see the world through children’s eyes, in this case, a crammed store filled with all sorts of treasures. In Dropje’s world, fantasy and reality smoothly alternate and overlap. 3+

Dropje is not a puppet, not a girl nor a boy. Dropje is simply Dropje, and lives in a shop which sells almost everything. While the adults endlessly fuss about their shopping and chat with the shop lady, the children tackle a small problem with Dropje's help. Using shop items, their imagination and - most importantly - a lot of fun, together they build fantastic solutions for wishes, sadness or practical problems.

Dropje is an ode to the power of an open mind which is inherent to all young children. How we wish we could maintain this fresh look! This programme contains five episodes, previously aired on television. In one of the episodes, everything gets tangled, and we follow a long, winding thread. Just like in our Playground of the Imagination, where you can endlessly play with buttons and thread after the film screening.

A ticket grants access to both the film programme and the Playground of the Imagination.

A ticket with a Stadspas with a green dot is € 1,- and can be reserved via info@eyefilm.nl. Send an email with the subject 'Reservation request Stadspasactie' containing the time, date and title of the screening and your first and last name. The tickets are only reserved if you have received a confirmation by email. Read more on the festival page.
