1991 saw the release of Dazed and Confused, the ultimate slacker movie. This year its ‘spiritual successor’ premiered. Everybody Wants Some!! is Linklater’s portrait of a freshman baseball player at the – fictitious –Southeast Texas University. His motto: ‘Get high and get girls’.
