In this original, humorous self-portrait that meanders between hope, despair and heartache, we follow seven years in the life of protagonist Rogier Kappers. He wants to make the dream he had as a nine-year-old boy come true: to become famous after building an organ made up of singing glasses. Is Kappers irrepressibly optimistic or naïve and impulsive?

Preliminary film

Preceding Glass: my unfulfilled life you will see the iconic, Oscar-winning documentary Glas (10') from 1958 by Bert Haanstra. Images of the various facets of glass manufacturing in the United Glass Factories Leerdam were rhythmically set to music by Pim Jacobs with attention to detail.
