Gummo
Harmony Korine / US, 1997 / 95 min.
Gummo was Harmony Korine’s sensational feature debut, about kids in the boondocks of Ohio. The film was reviled in the US, but won the Dutch Film Critics’ (KNF) Award at IFFR.

Xenia, Ohio. That is: the boonies. Nothing to do. So Solomon and Tummler sniff glue, hang cats, get bored again and try to get used to their white trash existence.
