Hemelsleutel
Digna Sinke / NL, 2025 / 97 min.
Digna Sinke’s latest film follows the making of a feature film about photographer Lea, who has been commissioned to record the energy transition in the Port of Amsterdam. What to do with those things that didn’t turn out well for you in life?

Lea is the protagonist of a potential feature film she’s in the process of making. The photographer has been commissioned to document the energy transition in the Port of Amsterdam, getting to the bottom of local politics and interests. This drags up a tsunami of memories and associations for her. What started out as a commercial project, soon becomes intensely personal. Gradually, Digna’s own memories and Lea’s story start to intertwine.
