Subtle urban portrait of Brussels based around a meeting between Romanian construction worker Stefan and local botanist Shuxiu, who shows Stefan the many types of moss between the stones of the city. Lovely slow cinema from a Flemish Zen master.

As Stefan is preparing for four weeks of summer holiday – he plans to visit his mother in Romania – he takes another look in his fridge. It’s not empty yet, so he makes a soup from all the leftover vegetables to share out among his friends, acquaintances and passers-by on the street.
