EYE opens the New Year with a tribute to the Amsterdam filmmaker Kees Hin, who shot his first documentary fifty years ago. Hin made an extraordinary film about German refugees seeking shelter in the Netherlands in the 1930s for the Berlin-Amsterdam 1920-1940 event.
