Hitchcock Unseen
An evening with rare and remarkable Hitchcock clips, presented in partnership with the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, which holds the director’s personal archives.

A surprising look behind the scenes, with highlights including screen tests of actress Tippi Hedren (The Birds, Marnie) and a compilation of home movies that sheds a light on the private lives of the Hitchcocks between ca. 1928 – 1936.
Also excerpts from an unrealized Hitchcock film, the 'sixties Mod thriller' Kaleidoscope', a screen test with Topaz actor Frederick Stafford and the promotional policy trailer for Psycho that shows how Hitchcock and the studio team turned a low-budget shocker into a box office phenomenon.
Presentation by EYE programmer Leo van Hee and Lynne Kirste, Special Collections Curator of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Film Archive.
