Magic-realist, psychological and philosophical drama in which two spirits, a mother and son, go on a spiritual quest to find their missing husband and father. They hope to find salvation from all the wrong decisions they made during their lives.
Basilio was missing for a long time and has since died, just like his mother Inés. He returns to his parental home and the latter, but the two spirits can’t find peace. Together they wander the war-torn country whilst trying to interact with the living in vain. They slowly realise they will have to make huge sacrifices to escape the situation.
