He hated the term 'spaghetti western' - for being 'offensive to Italians' - and yet he became world-famous for his scores for Sergio Leone's westerns. Ennio Morricone died on 6 July, aged 91. In memory of "Il Maestro", Eye screens Il Buono, il brutto, il cattivo (The Good, the Bad and the Ugly), for which Morricone wrote the unforgettable score.
