Imagine - Heksen! Hagazussa: A Heathen's Curse

Witches are not only a regular presence in fantastic films, they are also part of our European folklore and are firmly ingrained in our collective memory – who doesn”t know the woman with the pointy hat on her broom? The reality of witches is a tad different and as we have two films with witches in our programme, we thought it would be a good idea to invite a modern witch over for a talk. The Dutch-British Morgana is a so-called Wicca Priestess, who is active in various groups and has given countless workshops and lectures on Wicca. In connection with the screenings of The Changeover and Hagazussa - A Heathen”s Curse, Morgana will talk about archetypes, prejudices and contemporary witchcraft.
