Interview met Ivo van Hove & Jan Versweyveld + All About Eve
Andrea van Pol interviews theatre director Ivo van Hove and designer Jan Versweyveld about their exhibition All About Theatre About Film. The title was inspired by Joseph L. Manckiewicz’s legendary classic All About Eve in which Bette Davis stars as an aging theatre diva whose status is threatened.

For 40 years, theatre director Ivo van Hove and set designer Jan Versweyveld have been making theatre together. Their methods are progressive and experimental, and are mimicked around the globe. Their exceptional forte? Converting film scripts into plays: reason enough for Eye to invite the pair to compile an exhibition about their work.
