Aimless teen Abel wants to identify in the extreme with his cousin Jesús López, a racing car driver who died in a crash. The other villagers are concerned by the transformation. Magic-realist exploration of the search for identity won the prize for Best Latin-American Film (Mar del Plata Film Festival).
When the young racing car driver Jesús López dies in a crash, his home village is shocked. López’s cousin Abel, a directionless teen, feels the need to take Jesús’ place. He moves in with Jesús' parents and seeks to befriend Jesús’ friends. When a commemorative race is organised in the village, Abel takes part in his cousin’s car, completing the transformation.
