Once more Tsai Ming-liang finds poetry in tragedy and hope amongst the ruins.
His latest film is a family drama about a father who is down on his luck and living rough with his son and daughter. By holding up a real estate billboard in the middle of the traffic he manages to earn a meagre living. Venice Grand Special Jury Prize winner.
