Johan Cruijff - En un momento dado
Ramón Gieling / NL, 2004 / 93 min.
It’s ten years now since Johan Cruyff passed away. Born in Amsterdam’s Betondorp neighbourhood, Cruyff lit up Ajax and in Catalonia was celebrated as ‘El Salvador’ – the saviour. A unique portrait of Cruyff in his time as a player and trainer with FC Barcelona. In memoriam director Ramón Gieling.

Johan Cruijff had the gift of doing things that had an immeasurable impact on his life and career, without him being aware of this in advance, or even wishing for it. He won the admiration of every Catalan, for example, by calling his son ‘Jordi’: the name of a Catalan saint, which was still forbidden at the time in Spain.
