Joris Ivens & Nederland

EYE, in collaboration with Amsterdam University Press and the European Foundation Joris Ivens, organizes a special Joris Ivens day to mark the launch of The Conscience of Cinema. The Works of Joris Ivens 1926-1989, a work by the Canadian film historian Thomas Waugh. On this evening Waugh will offer an introduction about Ivens and the Netherlands. The programme also includes the screening of Indonesia Calling and De Brug (The Bridge) and a Q&A moderated by Rommy Albers.
