Kees Hin presenteert: uit de collectie van Beeld en Geluid
The 1970s and 1980s were the golden decades of remarkable Dutch television shows like Beeldspraak , an art programme for which Kees Hin produced numerous resourceful artists’ portraits. The Amsterdam filmmaker, who is the focus of a retrospective in EYE this month, presents fragments from his work with a running commentary. For his portraits of artists, writers and composers, Hin often collaborated with his good friend K. Schippers, the Dutch poet and art critic who has a soft spot for Dada and Laurel & Hardy.
