In this British animated adventure, a young boy who is shipwrecked with his dog finds out he’s not the only one on a remote Pacific island. It is also home to Kensuke, a silent, withdrawn Japanese man who really just wants to be left alone. Nevertheless, a special bond gradually grows between them.
During a round-the-world sailing trip with his parents, young Michael and his dog Stella are swept overboard during a heavy storm. They wash up on a remote Pacific island. Michael struggles to survive, far from everything he knows, afraid and alone. Until he finds out he’s not the only one on the island.
