Eye focuses on the work of documentary maker and author Willy Lindwer on the occasion of Holocaust Memorial Day. The screening connects with ‘Bullets, Betrayal and Letters', an exhibition currently showing in the National Holocaust Museum in the making, which addresses Lindwer’s family history. The director is present for a post-screening talk.

Child in Two Worlds (1993) is Willy Lindwer”s documentary on Jewish war orphans. These children, most of whom lost their parents in the war, in many cases appear to have remained in – usually Christian – foster families even after the liberation.
Willy Lindwer (Amsterdam, 1946) is a documentary maker, photographer and author. He attended the Film Academy of Amsterdam and gained fame internationally with such films as The Last Seven Months of Anne Frank. Lindwer received various awards for his work, including the International Emmy Award. He currently lives with his wife in Jerusalem.
