
KLIK - Invention for Destruction
Arguably the most successful Czechoslovakian film in history, Invention for Destruction is an animated fantasy adventure inspired by the stories of Jules Verne. With its storybook sets in striking black and white, inventive visual techniques, and innovative music by Zdeněk Liška, the 1958 Karel Zeman film tells the captivating tale of an invention that could easily destroy the world.

Nearly 60 years after its release, it”s time to rediscover this classic film in an all-new digitally restored version. The film”s restoration is part of the The World of Fantasy, a joint project of The Czech Film Foundation, the Karel Zeman Museum and Czech Television.
