KLIK - Paprika
Satoshi Kon / JP, 2006 / 90 min.
In this Japanese sci-fi psychological thriller anime from director Satoshi Kon, a scientist uses a device that permits therapists to help patients by entering their dreams. Paprika is based on Yasutaka Tsutsui's 1993 novel of the same name and is Kon's fourth and final feature. The film served as inspiration for Christopher Nolan's blockbuster Inception, though Paprika is obviously the superior film.
