After their island is devastated by an ecological catastrophe, Dinky and Birdboy decide to escape. Birdboy by shutting himself off from the world, Dinky by setting out a dangerous journey, hoping that Birdboy will accompany her.
Set in a visually high-contrast landscape, that oozes desolation and death, this adaption of director Alberto Vázquez” graphic novel addresses themes such as love, addiction, and resilience in a way that will leave no (young) adult unmoved.
