He is leading an isolated existence In the echoing halls of the colossal presidential palace, mourning the loss of his wife. Before returning to normal life, De Santis has to make decisions on two big issues facing him: requests for pardons from controversial prisoners and a Euthanasia Act, which is opposed by the Pope.
