Quentin Dupieux lets craziness reign in spates, this time by removing the fourth wall as a meta joke in this film about a film about a film. Florence wants to introduce David, the man she is madly in love with, to her father. However, David is not attracted to her in the slightest. He wants her to fall for his friend Willy. Everyone meets at ‘Le deuxième acte’, the remote roadside restaurant owned by the nervous, unhappy Stéphane.
