Los tigres
Alberto Rodríguez / ES, 2025 / 109 min.
In the industrial port of Huelva, siblings Antonio and Estrella struggle to stay afloat. When an unexpected discovery upends their lives, they are forced to face a decision that puts everything at risk.

In Los Tigres, director Alberto Rodríguez plunges into a raw world of underwater labour and moral conflict. Antonio and Estrella are professional divers who rely entirely on each other in a dangerous line of work where every descent carries risk. When they discover cocaine hidden in the hull of a ship, the promise of a better life becomes dangerously tempting. What begins as an opportunity soon spirals into a tense situation where trust, loyalty, and family bonds are pushed to the limit.
Through gripping underwater sequences and restrained, effective storytelling, Rodríguez crafts a tense thriller anchored by powerful performances from Antonio de la Torre and Bárbara Lennie.
