Young people need a lot of resilience to retain their footing in today’s unmoored world. This is particularly true of the protagonist of this documentary: twenty-year-old Ukrainian woman Kateryna, who is studying in Ghent, but whose heart is in Kyiv.
In her documentary Punt uit – Schluss Aus – Full Stop from 2020, Rosemarie Blank recorded the final phase in the life of her partner, architect Michael Hellgardt. In Lost in Time, she trains her camera on a young woman in the first phase of her professional life.
